What is CBD?

Cannabidiol, more commonly known as CBD, is by-far the most studied cannabinoid of the more than 116 known cannabinoids found in the cannabis (hemp) plant. Being all-natural, it comprises around 40% of the hemp plant.

Unlike THC, CBD is non-psychotropic. This means CBD will not get you high. CBD is often regarded as the single most important cannabinoid ever discovered. With on-going research, the list of its benefits continues to grow giving more and more hope to patients suffering from a multitude of symptoms.

______________

Can I Get High?

No. You cannot get high as our CBD products are extracted from industrial hemp.

Our CBD oil is grown and extracted from industrial hemp in a specific process that minimizes THC and yields high concentrations of CBD.

______________

Is it Legal?

Unlike many other CBD producers in the country, our CBD comes exclusively from industrial hemp. According to the FDA, hemp and hemp-derived extracts are food-based products posing no legal restriction. Although extracting CBD from hemp is more costly than traditional methods, we are able to control the specific strain and extraction process. This ability ensures high concentrations of CBD while eliminating any THC. With our sophisticated extraction process, Jugheads offers the absolute purest CBD in the country.

How Does CBD Work?

Decades of research shows that your endocannabinoid system (ECS) is primarily responsible for managing homeostasis: your body’s natural condition of balance. Everything from your temperature, blood sugar levels, pain sensation, sleeping, inflammation responses, CO2 levels, etc., need to be actively regulated within a narrow range of error to ensure optimal health.

When CBD is introduced to the body, it links with two of the main cannabinoid receptors found throughout the body, CB1 and CB2. Together, these receptors and CBD interact with the endocannabinoid system to help regulate your body’s homeostasis.
